James Bradley passed away peacefully on June 5th, surrounded by his four children.
To the world, James was a bestselling author, historian and storyteller whose work helped millions better understand courage, sacrifice and the human spirit. Through his books, he devoted his life to uncovering history with honesty, empathy and depth.
To us, he was Dad. He instilled in us a curiosity about the world, a love of travel and adventure and a deep respect for learning, people and cultures everywhere.
James lived boldly and fully and believed life was meant to be experienced through discovery and quest. His stories will continue to live on, but more importantly, so will the curiosity, wonder and adventurous spirit he inspired in all of us.
